We live in davenport, ia so whoever put it there enjoyed local beer. It si very clean and rust free. It does look like it was coated with clear varnish. There is a scuff on the word pilsner on one sied and a small scratch by pilsner on the other side. The top nad bottom are exceptional. This si just a great can that will look great in your collection.
